Photographer Profile: Dominic Cruz, Askari Wildlife Photography

Black and white photograph of a leopard at night, one ear, one eye and shoulder rosettes lit from the side, the rest in darkness. Makhasa Private Game Lodge.

Dominic Cruz works under the name Askari Wildlife Photography and shoots mostly in the dark: a lion mid-roar on black, an elephant in sepia, a leopard that has decided the night belongs to it. Seven photographs from Zuka, Kruger, Makhasa, Manyoni and MalaMala, and where to buy a print.
